Who is responsible

RCCG The King’s Seeds Bournemouth is the data controller for this archive. Contact us at privacy@rccgthekingsseeds.org.

What we collect

When you sign in we receive your name and email address from Google or from the email address you used to request a sign-in link. When you download a photograph or a bundle we record who you are, what you downloaded, and when.

We do not record your IP address or your device details.

Why we collect it

This is a working photo library for the church media team, not a public archive. Signing in identifies who is using it, and keeping a record of who downloaded which photographs is the least we can do to know where a copy has gone once it leaves here.

Our lawful basis

Legitimate interests. These are photographs of identifiable people, including children, so restricting access to signed-in members of the media team is necessary, and keeping a record of who has downloaded the set is part of doing that responsibly.

How long we keep it

Download records are deleted automatically after 24 months. Your account is removed whenever you ask.

Where it is stored

On Google Firebase in London (europe-west2).

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to what we are doing with it. Email privacy@rccgthekingsseeds.org and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Removing a photograph of you

If there is a photograph here that you would rather we did not show, tell us which one and we will take it down. You do not have to give a reason. Email privacy@rccgthekingsseeds.org with the filename shown under the photograph, or just describe it.

If the photograph is of a child and you are their parent or guardian, the same applies — contact us and we will remove it.
